Eng Soon Dry Bean Curd Manufacturing Pte Ltd, a family dry bean curd factory in Singapore since the 1977s, and has adopted this advanced production technology in 1983. Its production line was specially designed with the help of food engineers in Japan. The company now produces 4 metric tons of deep fried bean curd daily, with 11 varieties (8 times of its previous production when using the traditional method), both for sale in the local market, and export to other countries.

We were proud to proclaim that Eng Soon Dry Bean Curd Mfg Pte Ltd has been accredited with the prestigious ISO 9001 : 2008 and HACCP certifications.

With effect from 1 July 2002, the Agri-Food and Veterinary Authority (AVA) is the licensing authority for food factories in Singapore. To ensure the safety of locally manufacture, all local food factories are required to have proper quality control programmes and in-house hygiene officers to oversee their manufacturing practices. Food factories are also encouraged to adopt the Hazard Analysis Critical Control Point (HACCP) concept and to automate their manufacturing processes, so as to remain competitive in the international market. We also got the Halal Certification for selling the product to Muslim customer.

Over the years, food manufacturers and food handlers have been advised on various food safety measures, to ensure and improve the standard and hygiene of their products.
